Executive Producer / Producer

Nancy has always had a deep-rooted passion for the entertainment industry including film, photography and the arts in general. Her career began working at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto as a stage manager working with top performers while later managing and advising talent. Nancy’s proven track record of success helped her move into the US entertainment industry obtaining financing and producing over 20 feature films including Septem8er Tapes, Southland Tales, Your Name Here, Passengers, Remember the Daze, Walker Payne, Crushed and Unfinished Life.

As President of Simple Entertainment, Nancy brings her extensive entertainment experience, marketing and business acumen to successfully promote new projects and ideas. Her excellent communication, organization and negotiation skills are key in helping ensure a project’s success throughout the creative development process, including pre-production, production and post-production. The Nancy Newton team is well experienced with the entire creative and production process and are currently producing a slate of new entertainment including, documentaries, animation, scripted and unscripted projects. With over 80 years of combined experience, the Simple Entertainment team’s vision, creativity and experience will ensure a project’s commercial success.

NChris has more than 20 years of experience in Hospitality & Entertainment with extensive experience in formulating corporate structures, vision, long term strategic sales, leading production process including but not limited to bidding, treatments, pitching, or problem solving. Management of networking solutions driven, business strategy, production landscapes, domestic advertising, and brand implementation. New business development, patents and manufacturing products or systems programs.

Supporting our existing roster of talented directors and seeking out new talent to expand our offering. Working closely with creatives, directors, photographers, writers, producers, PM’s and of course the agency partners. Having 6 + years in a production including sales role. Reality series producing, working closely with Videographers and crew regarding shot angles, audio placement and editing to create ideal film production. Having 5 Chef for a Day shows recorded and edited in regional and international themed productions. Director and Writer. Breast Cancer Association Headliner Years Active: 2002-2008. Over the past 28 years Johnston has had an eclectic career, winning awards as a documentary and feature film writer, director and producer. His deep social and philanthropic thirst for understanding and global truth has taken him around the world to more than 65 countries.

Johnston and a small production team snuck into Afghanistan six months after September 11, 2001, shooting what the Chicago Tribune called “the riskiest production in the history of movies.” From coast-to-coast sketch comedy tours and television appearances as an actor, to numerous producing credits and they hold a still-burning love of service and an earnest passion for storytelling.


Kevin Loughery

Executive Producer / Advisor

An entrepreneur, business expert and seasoned producer, Loughery brings a diverse skill set and keen insight to the company. He has worked for 30 years as an investment banker, starting with Bear Stearns and now runs his own Family Office.

Loughery has led financing for and produced over 20 feature films and several TV series, both scripted and unscripted. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia.

J’s passion for film and television was originally inspired by J. Christian Ingvordsen (Director / Producer – Airboss I, II, III, and Blood Relic). After making several films with Chris in New York, JJ has gone on to direct tv pilots, commercials, feature films, and music videos. With over two decades of experience in many facets of entertainment, his entrepreneurial diversity and understanding of the industry is unmatchable. JJ has worked for major studios and networks working his way through the DGA on well known projects such as Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior, starring Forest Whitaker, The Middle and Big Time Rush. His fearless attitude and out of the box thinking makes him a catalyst in the industry.

By providing outstanding leadership and an impeccable work ethic, he maintains the company’s integrity. He has always had the ambition to be a visionary leader, dares to be different and imaginative. Always ready for a challenge, he founded Cinema House to take his passion for storytelling to the next level. One of his favorite quotes is have fun, keep your eye on the prize and never take yourself too seriously. Additional Credits include: Designing Women Reunion, Dance Wars, Fear Factor, HBO Boxing, Shobox for Showtime, Nickelodeon, Walt Disney’s Zeke, Luther, Bring Him Home, Dateline, Bold and the Beautiful, Young and the Restless.


Scott Doucet

Producer / Director / Multimedia Specialist

Scott’s media career started working at 20th Century Fox in the TV Production department and after a prolonged writer’s strike in the mid 1980’s, he turned his attention to developing interactive multimedia, graphic design and video production. In the early 1990’s his skill sets expanded to creating online interactive multimedia solutions and computer-based video editing/production.

Scott has extensive experience in producing, directing, video production, video editing, animation, post-production and recently produced the History Roads Elljay, Georgia Pilot.
